SONGS, STRINGS, SIX SETS and SUPPERSONGS, STRINGS, SIX SETS and SUPPER Wednesday 19th March at 7.30 - Dent Memorial Hall In anticipation of our big event, Handel’s Messiah on the 26th April, The Dentdale Choir is holding an evening of lighter entertainment to listen, mingle, chat, and get to know us. We’ll provide a buffet, soft drinks and corkscrews, if you would like to bring a bottle of plonk. You’ll be entertained by: Folli Contorti – 9 members of the choir in glorious harmony The Chequered Acafellas - 6 blokes with songs and sea shanties Nicholas Hurndall Smith – our wonderful tenor and choral director accompanied by John Seymour Head of Choral Music at Sedbergh Cornucopia - surprising ancient sounds! Julian Cann and Caroline Page – violins in harmony (To be confirmed) Surprise! - wait and see or rather, hear TICKETS: £10 cash on the door including supper! |
