We will finish learning "Exceeding Glad" (2nd movement from The King Shall Rejoice) and move onto the 3rd movement.
The aim for this rehearsal is to be able to sing all of the first three movements from The King Shall Rejoice and all of Shenandoah.
Hoping to do Sure on this Shining Night, which should not need any note-bashing. If anyone feels that this piece is rusty, please go to the rehearsal tracks to revise your part.

We will also do Deep River (please dig that out of last term's music) and a new piece that I hope to teach by ear...

MacMillan - two motets (Radiant Dawn, Benedicimus).
Rivers of Babylon, which was distributed in the first couple of weeks in September. Please bring this to the rehearsal.
Deep River, Great High Mountain, and Shenandoah could be on the agenda.

This rehearsal will focus on the following:
- finishing the 5th movement of the Handel
- finishing Benedicimus (MacMillan)
- finishing Rivers of Babylon

This week we will tackle that fiddly bit in the middle of "Allelujah" and sing the whole of that movement. Please look at this in advance if you can so as to speed up the process of rehearsing it.
We will return to Benedicimus Caeli and work on the counting in that. A scan of my copy with counting written on it is in the rehearsal tracks folder. Please prepare for this piece in advance.
